Every care has been taken to show the artwork as accurately as possible with regard to size and colour. The image you see online may show a difference due to slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings.
Please note that any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and slight inconsistencies will not be a valid reason for return.
How is my payment handled?
Payments are taken through PayPal or Stripe in British Pounds Sterling. You do not need to have a PayPal account to purchase; you can use the PayPal service to pay with your regular debit or credit card. We do not store any of your debit/credit card details.
Purchasing with a deposit
If you would like to purchase an original painting over £500 you are welcome to purchase in stages. As the value of my work grows I understand this can be a helpful option. A 50% deposit is payable to hold your painting . The balance can be paid the following month or in 2 monthly payments of 25% each. Please contact me if you are interested in arranging this.
This is not a credit scheme, but an arrangement on trust, at no extra cost to you. Usual shipping costs and return policy will apply.
Paying by bank transfer
If you’d like to buy a painting by BACS (bank transfer) I would be delighted to facilitate this. Please email me so that I can mark the painting/s you want to purchase as sold. I will then give you my bank details and request that you pay immediately as while the painting is marked sold it cannot be purchased by someone else. If you require an IBAN no. if you’re overseas this is provided. Just let me know.
I have placed my order, how soon will I receive my painting?
Original paintings will be packed and shipped within 5 working days. Within the UK pieces are sent by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or courier depending on size and weight. I may even deliver it personally if this is convenient for me. I would let you know if that is the case. You are also welcome to collect if you wish to. Most UK deliveries arrive within 2 days from time of shipping. Please allow 7 working days in total from ordering to arrival if you’re UK based.
If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact me before you make an order so that I can ensure it will reach you in time. Please note that there may be an extra charge for rush deliveries.
I have placed my order, how soon will I receive my print?
My prints are made to order and are sent signed on the reverse to you within 2- 4 days. Orders are sent by Royal Mai or Parcelforce. Most UK deliveries arrive within 2 days from the time of shipping. Please allow 7 working days in total, longer if you are overseas. It is almost impossible for me to predict timing of overseas deliveries unfortunately - particularly since Brexit.
For both prints and paintings I will let you know the date of dispatch and give you an estimate of delivery time depending on where you live.
Can I collect my artwork from your studio?
Yes, if you have a London postcode starting in W or SW this option should come up as a choice when you checkout. If you are further afield but would like to collect in person you can enter code COLLECT at the checkout. Once you have placed your order I will email you and we can work out a time to meet. My home is in Chiswick, West London W4.
Is Shipping included?
Yes, most artwork has an estimated shipping cost included at checkout based on the size of the work and your location.
Note: At the current time shipping costs are varying significantly due to Covid-19 restrictions, especially on air freight. If the actual cost of shipping is significantly more than quoted I reserve the right to discuss this with you and to refuse the sale.
What about large or high value artworks?
I appreciate this is a high value purchase – and a piece of work I have have spent much time on! It’s important for both of us to make sure it is transported safely. Some couriers have limits on dimensions or what they will carry so certain pieces have individual requirements. This will be noted in the Shipping details with each product listing. Shipping costs for large artworks need to be quoted individually – please contact me before purchasing. I will then contact you via email to discuss specialist shipping options before the artwork is despatched. If you buy online first in order to secure the painting the shipping cost will be billed separately after agreement.
Can you ship internationally?
Yes, I can ship to most countries, although it will take longer to arrive depending on your location. If your location is restricted once you get to the checkout you need a bespoke courier service. Message me with your details and the piece you would like and I can give you shipping options.
Overseas shipments (outside the UK) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. We have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges.
Shipping costs contribute towards packing supplies, labour and transit fees.
What about the dreaded Brexit?
I’m not going to lie – it’s a mess. Currently (Jan 2021) it’s not clear what extra charges will be made for EU customers. As I don’t want you to have unexpected charges made for VAT, customs charges or extra handling charges currently being levied I have temporarily removed EU countries from the checkout.
BUT – if there is something you have seen and love and are OK with the possible fees charged at customs do please email me. We just don’t want surprises!
What if my painting arrives and I don’t like it?
I want you to be fully happy with your new artwork so I offer a Buy-Back agreement.
If an original painting is not as you expect, you have 14 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you. Once the piece has been safely returned I will refund your payment within 14 days.
Do you give a refund on prints if I change my mind?
All prints are custom made to the size you request. I don’t hold stock – each print is made for you. Please check the size is as you wish before you place the order.
What if my painting arrives damaged?
All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact me within 7 days with a photograph.
What about Overseas Returns?
At this time I am unable to offer a refund or return on any product(s) sent outside of the UK.
